Within the next few weeks things will be looking quite different here due to a massive update I am working on at the moment. Over the coming weeks I will also be posting a lot from festivals this summer and a lot of tear sheets from National newspapers, music magazines and international ones showing where my work has been published in the last few months as well as recent festivals I have shot including The Camden Crawl, The Great Escape in Brighton, Hit The Deck and Dot To Dot in Nottingham.
As the festival season cranks up and hopefully the cold wet nights that typify our winters here in the UK fade out its back to photographing 30+ bands a day every weekend.
Last summer I managed to shoot 12 festivals and this summer plan’s hopefully including a few gigs in Ibiza and a foreign festival or two along with some big UK ones. Unfortunately No Sonisphere or The Big Chill for me this summer as they are both taking a year off.
Between now and the end of the year I have quite a few exciting projects coming up and will be doing a lot more personal work as well. You can expect to see a lot of blogging from me once my new site is finished off towards the end of this month.
I can also reveal I have recently started shooting a lot of content for a fashion blog my girlfriend writes over at faiiint.com primarily consisting of location shoots for outfit posts and event coverage including the UK launch party for the Scandinavian online fashion retailer Nelly.com
I am also excited to be able to say my archive filed with Redfern, Getty Images and Wire Image recently passed the 13,000 photographs mark. I will be regularly updateing my public view archive over on flickr with both new and old content.
I am headed off to the NIA in a few hours to photograph Blink 182, another band I grew up listening to I can tick off my list
More to come. . .
